Despues de una larga investigacion por cargos de corrupcion que incluye el arreglar multas de traffico 16 policias de la NYPD fueron acusados formalmente por un Gran Jurado llamado por el Bronx District Attorney en una investigacion que a causado que mas de 500 policias llegaran a la corte criminal de el Bronx para apoyar a los officiales arrestados inclusive los 500 policias le llamaban malas palabras a los fiscales que llegaban a la corte los officiales acusados son:Virgilio Bencosme, 33, de el 40th Precinto; Officer Christopher Scott, 41,de el 48th Precinto; Officer Jaime Payan, 37, de el 46th Precinto; Officer Eugene P. O’Reilly, 39, de el 45th Precinto; Officer Christopher Manzi, 41, de el 41st Precinto; Officer Luis R. Rodriguez, 43, de el 40th Precinto; and Jason Cenizal, 39, delegado de la asociacion de POLICIAS PBA NYPD 42nd Precinto los sargentos Jacob G. Solorzano, 41, Marc Manara, 39 , Jeffrey L. Regan, 37, Ruben Peralta, 45. y ;la teniente Jennara Cobb por filtrar informacion de la investigacion a officiales investigados con fines de protejerlos.
